A Fun Event with a Serious Cause
Join Save A Horny Friend Foundation and the elite of San Diego for this year's coolest fundraiser - a night of laughs, music, delectables, top comedians and special guest, the CEO of the world-famous Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Richard Vigne - to raise money for the conservation education in Tanzania and drone surveillance programs in Kenya to prevent the poaching of our most beloved large mammals, the rhinos and elephants!
The current poaching crisis has become so bad that we estimate 200,000+ elephants and 6000+ rhinos have been poached in the last six years, with an expected extinction horizon of 2025 if we don’t act quickly.
Through the use of modern technology such as drones and ground surveillance, we have hope to not only detect and catch the poachers before they are anywhere near the rhinos and elephants, but also to protect the lives of the anti-poaching rangers, 1000+ who have recently been murdered by poachers as well.
6-7:30pm - Optional Dinner with Richard Vigne:
Enjoy the company of Richard Vigne at a prix fixe dinner at Bernini's Bistro with a small group before the show.
7- 8pm - Music and Socializing:
Come early to enjoy socializing, scrutinize the raffles, fun photography, and delectable desserts with South African musical sensation, Mangrove Swamp, with the incredible Brian Murray and Neville Stanger!
8-11pm - Main Comedy and Fundraising Event:
Exuberant MC Matty Sandoval will make this night one to remember, filled with a line-up of top comedians from LA and SD, high-end raffle and auction prizes, the best of San Diego's philanthropists, engaging speakers, light hors d'oeuvres and delectable desserts all in the hysterically-fun La Jolla Comedy Store beautifully decorated by local sustainability artist, Amy Burnard!
